Our Work
Our 4 Pillars
The majority of our work can be divided up into what we call our 4 Pillars. Each one a separate field that supports or lifts up our ministry as a whole. At the very core of what we do is our children, everything centres around them and is designed in one way or another to support and lift them up.
Home
Our children are the very heart of our mission. Though all come from destitute or desperate situations, they are all cared for as members of our family and treated as the beautiful individuals that they are. As with all children worldwide, each boy and girl comes to us with their own unique dreams, passions and talents. Our job is to develop the whole person, not simply feed and clothe a needy child. We have children of age groups 4-14 which are divided in to 4 groups.

School
Nelson Mandela said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” and we believe it is true.
Education is a critical foundation in every child’s life. It is certainly something that we place great value.
School project helps our ministry in two more significant ways:
- By advancing our goal towards self-sufficiency and by funding our continued expansion into the future.
- Tuition fees from outside students help pay for the costs of the school and some of our school’s running costs.
Spiritual Formation
There are number of ways to make sure the children are on track, mentally and physically, from charts at the doctor’s office to standardized tests at school. Development of the mind and body are certainly important.
However, spiritual growth is critical to providing a child with a strong foundation for the future—fostering greater happiness and well-being while helping children understand that their life has purpose and meaning. At HOH we have specially focusing on spiritual formation each child.
Character Formation
As a family, we found that the work of the Spirit is essential to character development. We memorized the fruit of the Spirit together and seek to use them as a model for character development in our home and in our children’s lives. Once we learned them together, we were able to use them as a model of Christ’s work in us through the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. This has been especially helpful when it comes to discipline in the home.

Children Bible School
The Bible tells us to “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” (Prov. 22:6).
We at HOH believes that we have been given the divine responsibility to help shape our children’s character.
